Interdistrict Transfer Requests Information
1. Start Date for Interdistrict Transfer Requests
The school district will begin accepting and processing interdistrict transfer requests for the upcoming school year on January 15, 2024. Please ensure all requests are submitted by March 31, 2024 to be considered for the subsequent school year.
2. Reasons for Approval or Denial
Interdistrict transfer requests may be approved or denied based on the following reasons:
• Reasons for Approval: The student requires specialized education programs offered only at the requested school; The student has siblings currently enrolled in the requested district; A parent or guardian is employed within the requested district.
• Reasons for Denial: Overcrowding at the requested school or grade level; Insufficient documentation supporting the request; The student has a history of poor attendance, behavior issues, or low academic performance.

If your interdistrict transfer request is denied, you may appeal the decision within the district:
